There have been rumors about a fight between Dr. Britt Baker and amateur fighter LuFisto behind the scenes. In a social media post, LuFisto seemed to imply that someone used their backroom power to keep her out of AEW. This led people to think that she was talking about Baker. But the story doesn’t seem to be true, and it’s important to note that LuFisto didn’t even say the name “AEW” in the post.

Reports have stated that Britt Baker had nothing to do with LuFisto not being able to join AEW. Fightful also gave an update on the issue, saying that LuFisto told them that Baker isn’t the fighter in question. At the moment, we don’t know which artist LuFisto was talking about when she tweeted that bad women’s classes start with the talent and not the booking team.

LuFisto said this after the booking of AEW’s women’s lineup was criticized after the incident with the fan sign on the July 26 show of “Dynamite.” Baker wrestled Taya Valkyrie on the show, which may be why so many fans and experts thought LuFisto was talking about the former AEW Women’s World Champion.

“It’s funny how people say that bad women’s divisions are because of bad booking. Talent that has too much power, talent that talks bad about each other, talent that talks bad about possible workers as soon as they walk in the door… “It starts here,” wrote LuFisto.

In a second tweet, LuFisto said she didn’t want to work for the company she had been talking about. “No worries. No need for such a toxic environment in my life,”she said.
