Publishers of AEW Fight Forever warns of false information

It seems crazy that AEW Fight Forever has been out for almost a month already. That’s hard to believe because making the game was hard, mostly because of the ESRB, and many people didn’t think it would ever come out. When it did come, it was a “mixed experience,” based on who you asked. Those who paid attention to how it played liked it because it reminds them of wrestling games from the past. People who wanted a “more robust experience” were a little let down by what happened.

No matter how you felt about AEW Fight Forever, one thing is clear: it will get DLC, and it could keep getting it for a long time. But the question is, besides the packs that have already been mentioned, what else will we get from the game?

With the way the internet is now, it’s not hard to think that different people will share “insider information” about who or what will be in the title next. In order to do this, THQ Nordic went on Twitter, which is still what we call it here at GameRanx, and posted the following:

THQ Nordic doesn’t want rumors around AEW Fight Forever

Even though it may seem “basic” that they would do that, there are a lot of stories and speculations about other titles that are either definitely not true or are so “uncertain” that it would be a mistake to believe them until there is more proof. It was said that THQ Nordic had seen these and wanted to stop them before they got out of hand.

But you might ask, “Well, what do we know is coming to the game next?” We know two important things, though. First, we know that Stadium Stampede, a new game mode, will be added at some point. It will be the first time ever that a real wrestling game has a battle royale mode.

Thirty people will fight with all the tools they can find in a huge venue, trying to kill everyone else and be the last one left. That’s a big change from what the real Stadium Stampede games were, but we don’t think players will mind.

We also know that DLC packs with new champions like FTR, The Bunny, and Keith Lee are on the way.

It’s possible that there will be more “modern updates” to the squad in upcoming DLC packs so that the team’s current lineup is reflected in the game.

But don’t believe what you see online until you hear it from official sources.
