The most recent show of “The Kurt Angle Show” was a “Ask Kurt Anything” episode, and one fan asked The Olympic Hero what current star he sees some of himself in. Many people might have thought Angle would say Gable Steveson or Chad Gable, but the WWE Hall of Famer didn’t hesitate to say The Cleaner.
“I love the kid. Yeah, super talented. Um, I’m not sure how great he is on the microphone, but, uh, as far as his in ring wrestling, there’s really nobody better today.”
Kenny Omega just re-signed with AEW after long talks, and WWE was said to be interested in getting him or any of his Elite teammates. Angle thought that Omega could move up in Stamford, even though the show was taped a week before his new deal was made public.
“If he went to WWE, I think he would be a bigger star.”
Omega is stuck with All Elite Wrestling, but Angle has said he likes the work Omega has done in the past, and Kenny has given AEW fans some great matches. At All In, which could be the biggest live wrestling event ever, The Cleaner will probably be able to show off his work. Omega’s opponent for the event hasn’t been named yet, but it would be wrong to think he won’t be there.
