This has not been an easy week for Claudio Castagnoli. On “AEW Dynamite,” the Ring of Honor World Champion teamed up with the Blackpool Combat Club, Konosuke Takeshita, and PAC to take on The Golden Elite in a Blood & Guts match that was brutal, cruel, and full of blood. Even though his team lost that amazing fight, “The Swiss Superman” was able to protect his title against “The Bastard” at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Now, he and his BCC brother Jon Moxley have to go up against two of the best teams in All Elite Wrestling on TBS on Wednesday.

The AEW Twitter account said that a triple threat tag team match between Castagnoli and Moxley, the Lucha Bros, and Best Friends will take place at the MVP Arena in Albany, NY.

Even though the Blackpool Combat Club is hurt, they are going up against two other teams that have a lot to show. Lucha Bros and Best Friends were both in a four-way tag match for the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Kingdom and the newly crowned winners Aussie Open at the promotion’s latest pay-per-view on Friday.

Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta have been important parts of AEW since the beginning. They were some of the first people the company signed, and they have stayed popular with fans ever since. But they have never won a title, either as a team or with Orange Cassidy as part of a trio. Now that Cassidy has the International Title and Kris Statlander is the TBS Champion, the two huggers probably want to show themselves more than ever. If they beat these two strong teams, they might get another chance to finally win some tag team gold.
