Blackpool Combat Club member, Wheeler Yuta has disclosed who highly regarded champion he hopes to face in the ring at the upcoming All In Pay-Per-View. The AEW event at Wembley Stadium in August of this year is expected to be the greatest exhibition that the company has ever presented. As a result, Tony Khan will need to guarantee that there is a diverse range of exciting bouts on the card to keep spectators interested throughout.

One of these might be a rematch for the ROH Pure Championship between Wheeler Yuta and Katsuyori Shibata. At this year’s Supercard of Honour Pay-Per-View in March, the Blackpool Combat Club member lost the championship to the New Japan stalwart.

According to Yuta, the drama between the two best technical wrestlers is far from done. In an interview with SEScoops, he stated the following:

“I would love to win my championship back from Shibata. I would like to win the Pure Championship back there. That would be an awesome rematch to have. I just want to be on that show, to be honest.”

For the time being, Yuta must concentrate on his upcoming bout against Kenny Omega, which takes place on Wednesday on Dynamite.

Wheeler Yuta chatted with Cageside Seats about his encounter with Kenny Omega on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and the match Omega had with Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door. Here are a few highlights:

On the match between Omega and Ospreay: “Just an absolutely incredible match. The risks that those guys [took], were insane. I think Kenny’s gonna be a little bit banged up going into this one.”

On having to follow that match as Kenny’s next opponent: “Honestly, I always just try to kind of do my own thing and focus on my own goals. Obviously, [following the Ospreay match] definitely adds to the excitement. It adds to the feel of it. Just like, how is Kenny gonna be able to bounce back after having such a classic match? So it definitely adds a whole ‘nother element to it, but I really just have to focus on doing the best that I can do… it definitely adds a little bit more in an air of excitement. I don’t think I’d say pressure. I’d say excitement for me.” h/t – 411Mania
