Booker T weighs in

When it comes to Jeff Hardy and his latest DUI conviction, Booker T feels AEW should have “some responsibility to bear.” Booker chimed in on the subject on his “Hall Of Fame” podcast, noting that this occurrence, along with the one with Sunny, who was arrested for vehicular manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol are examples of how severe addiction truly is.

Hardy is “one of those men” who has been struggling with difficulties for “quite some time,” according to Booker, who noted that the former WWE Superstar has been upfront about his struggles in the past. However, due to the possibly terrible repercussions, this event made Booker remark, “wow.” He said, “It’s public as far as Jeff Hardy’s struggles with addiction. Man, it’s sad because this is serious … a class three felony, he could face up to five years in prison, and that right there just makes it a little bit different.”
