Roman Reigns has shattered numerous records, defeating some of the industry’s most revered figures. The Tribal Chief recently made history by ending a former AEW World Champion’s remarkable streak of never losing two consecutive matches after nine years.

CM Punk has been more successful than most of his opponents in AEW matches. His overall record shows only five losses, with three of them occurring during a Collision episode. The first loss took place in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament Finals against Ricky Starks, and the second happened just this week on Collision, where he faced off against both Ricky Starks again and Christian Cage in tag team action.

For the first time in nine years, he managed to avoid consecutive losses. This remarkable achievement took place back in January 2014, marking the last occurrence of such an event. It happened during a noteworthy Monday Night RAW when he suffered defeat in a singles match against Roman Reigns.

Alongside Billy Gun and Road Dogg of D-Generation X, he encountered The Shield on SmackDown later that week. Unfortunately, it was his second consecutive loss within the same timeframe.
