Bryan Danielson enjoys his life in AEW as a member of the Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) and wants the gang will never split apart. Danielson recently spoke with “Sports Illustrated,” expressing his wish to keep the group together. He emphasized that the club remained together even when Danielson and fellow BCC member Jon Moxley squared off in the AEW World Championship tournament final in September.

“I love this group. This should be a group that never breaks up,” stated the former WWE star. “Mox and I have wrestled since the BCC started, we wrestled in the championship tournament [last fall]. That didn’t cause any disturbances in the BCC. That’s the story of the BCC. When the BCC loses, we’ll shake hands and go back to training the next day.”

Over the previous year and a half, the BCC has run roughshod over AEW, winning a series of tough and hard-hitting contests. The group began with simply Moxley and Danielson and was managed by William Regal, who joined them after leaving WWE. After confronting Moxley on “AEW Rampage,” which Moxley subsequently said was not planned, Wheeler Yuta was welcomed into the fold a few months later. Claudio Castagnoli, formerly known as Cesaro in WWE, joined the group as the last and fourth member when he made his debut at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June.

After turning heel at the Double or Nothing show earlier this year, Konosuke Takeshita has occasionally sided with the BCC. Since the arrival of Castagnoli, the roster has stayed constant, albeit they have lost their manager, William Regal, who left AEW in December to join WWE.
