Last night, AEW honored the 200th episode of Dynamite with a show that culminated in Hikaru Shida becoming a two-time women’s world champion. After the show, Chris Jericho escorted AEW President Tony Khan down to the ring, where the whole roster thanked him for taking AEW to this point.

As part of that thank you, AEW World Champion MJF took the mike and stated that before AEW, WWE was the only way to make real money in pro wrestling. The champion quipped that this may have resulted in WWE giving him the moniker Mordecai Schmeckel Jr. and making him wear a dreidel.

Khan replied to the roster’s expression of appreciation by calling it “one of the most important nights of my life” and expressing his passion for pro wrestling.

It’s wonderful to see AEW get to 200 episodes of Dynamite are really dang fantastic. Let’s hope the following 200 episodes are just as good!
