Potential McGegor bout’s

McGregor has been heavily connected to a fight with Charles Oliveira. Despite winning, the former lightweight champion had his championship revoked after failing to make weight against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. McGregor, on the other hand, has stated his desire to compete for the welterweight title against Kamaru Usman. However, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is scheduled to defend his championship against Leon Edwards later this year.

Following his knockout victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, lightweight contender Michael Chandler challenged McGregor to a welterweight fight. However, given the magnitude of the match-up, such fight is improbable. Nate Diaz is final man as he and McGregor are 1-1, and with Diaz only having one fight left on his contract, this may be the ideal opportunity for UFC president Dana White to cash in on the third instalment of a trilogy. McGregor has already fought at welterweight, so it may be his best choice when he returns.
