Logan Paul felt his body on the verge of being “split in half” during a grappling session with none other than UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski. During his training stint in Puerto Rico, YouTube sensation Logan Paul had the opportunity to train with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Volkanovski got the better of Logan Paul

Despite having a significant size advantage over UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, Logan Paul openly acknowledged that Volkanovski outperformed him during their grappling session. Reflecting on the experience during his Impaulsive podcast, the YouTube star humbly admitted that Volkanovski showcased superior skills and emerged as the victor in their encounter, highlighting the champion’s exceptional talent and expertise on the mats.

“You’re the best in the world at what you do, I got to experience it. You are so strong and dominant, it’s like I knew it going into it. You put me in a body lock and I felt like you could have tightened your legs so much and literally split me in half, I’m not doing BJJ again.”

Coming off a controversial loss to lightweight champion Islam Makhachev earlier this year, Alexander Volkanovski, widely regarded as one of the UFC’s elite pound-for-pound fighters, is gearing up to defend his featherweight title against Yair Rodriguez in the highly anticipated main event of UFC 290 next month. With a stellar record and an impressive fighting style, Volkanovski has consistently showcased his dominance in the octagon.

Alexander Volkanovski wants a rematch with Islam Makhachev

In hopes of securing a rematch with Islam Makhachev, Alexander Volkanovski, the reigning featherweight champion, is focused on his upcoming bout against Yair Rodriguez in Las Vegas. The possibility of a rematch with Makhachev hinges on Volkanovski’s performance against Rodriguez. During a conversation on his podcast, Logan Paul expressed his admiration for Volkanovski’s fighting prowess, highlighting his captivating style.

“You have always been a tough guy, that’s the one thing I notice when watching you fight is how tough you are. When you escaped Ortega’s choke, you came back and won that fight. I’ve said it before I even knew you, one of the first fights I saw of you that impressed me I had the instinct to speak on it because I could tell how fiery you were,” Paul said.
