Dricus Du Plessis holds a differing perspective from Dana White’s recent comments. Originally scheduled to contend for the middleweight championship at UFC 293, Du Plessis was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a foot injury.

White expressed his dissatisfaction with Du Plessis declining the short-notice opportunity, especially after his knockout victory over Robert Whittaker at UFC 290 in July.
