TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont in 2023 is scheduled to start on April 12 and end on April 15. Fort Lauderdale and Knoxville hosted the first two TYR Pro Swim Series events. The third stop on the USA swimming circuit meets will be here. This year, the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville took place from January 11 to January 14. Fort Lauderdale hosted the TYR Swim Series’ second stop. Leon Marchand, Ryan Murphy, Regan Smith, Lilly King, and Bobby Finke are just a few of the top swimmers who will be competing at the Westmont meet, as they have at the previous two TYR Pro Swim series this year. For the crowd gathered at the arena to watch their favorite swimmers compete for top honors, their participation will make the TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont even more thrilling.

Ty Warner Park’s FMC Natatorium serves as the competition’s location. According to the USA Swimming website, the FMC Natatorium is situated at 275 Plaza Dr, Westmont, IL 60559 in Illinois. A little more than 20 miles west of downtown Chicago, in the DuPage County community of Westmont, is the 71,000-square-foot FMC Natatorium. On the website for the FMC Natatorium, you can purchase tickets for the TYR Pro Swim Series at Westmont. The price of a ticket ranges from $5 to $10, but as of Day 2, both the preliminaries and finals have a posted price of $10. As far as I can tell, the prelims and finals tickets must be purchased separately.

Schedule for the TYR Pro Swim Series in Westmont

The TYR Pro Swim Series is slated to take place from April 12, 2023, to April 15, 2023. On Day 1 of the Westmont meet, the 800-meter freestyle competition will be held for both men and women. Day 1’s sole activity will be this. The preliminary rounds will start at 9 am on Day 2 and the final rounds will start at 6 pm on Day 2 of the Westmont meeting.

Swimmers to watch out for at the TYR Pro Series Westmont

The TYR Pro Series at Westmont features several top swimmers. This would unquestionably draw a sizable crowd to the event. In Westmont, rising star Leon Marchand will also compete. In addition to the 400-meter individual medley, Leon Marchand will compete in the 200-meter individual medley, 200-meter individual breaststroke, and 200-meter butterfly. Whereas in the 400-meter freestyle, 800-meter freestyle, 1500-meter freestyle, 400-meter individual medley, and 200-meter backstroke events, Bobby Finke will compete.

Hunter Armstrong, Chase Kalisz, Carson Foster, Shaine Casas, Ryan Murphy, Kieran Smith, and Destin Lasco are other male swimmers competing in Westmont. In terms of female swimmers, Katie Ledecky, currently one of the best in the world, has withdrawn from the competition due to illness. In addition to the 100-meter and 200-meter butterfly races, Regan Smith will take part in all three backstroke competitions. The 50-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter breaststrokes are the three events in which Lilly King will compete. At the 800-meter freestyle, 200-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle, 200-meter individual medley, and 100-meter freestyle events, Leah Smith will compete.

Usaswimming.Org reports that there won’t be any team or individual scoring at the TYR Pro Series in Westmont. Below are the prize money informational details that were revealed on the source:

  • $1500 is awarded for first place
  • $1000 for second place
  • $500 is awarded for finishing third.

At the competition site, there are also parking facilities set up. Usaswimming.Org states that there are 125 on-street parking spaces in addition to the 220 spaces at TY-Warner Park across the street and the 300 spaces at the FMC Natatorium.
