The Totally Wicked Stadium will host St Helens vs Castleford Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The game will be aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. While dealing with the pain of a lopsided derby loss to Wakefield last week, Castleford may receive the black lash. With the League Leaders’ Shield up for grabs for the Saints and a play-off position enticing the Tigers, both teams urgently need to get back on track.

Tommy Makinson returns just in time to take Regan Grace’s position, whose career with the Saints is now all but gone due to injury. Sam Royale returns right away following his loan stint at Hull KR, while Dan Norman is also back from injury, replacing Agnatius Paasi who was out with a concussion. Curtis Sironen is still in the squad despite a bicep injury from last week.

For the Tigers, Sosaia Feki and Cheyse Blair are both selected in the 21-man squad along with the return of Gareth O’Brien and Alex Mellor. Jake Mamo is eliminated due to a head injury, joining Daniel Smith, George Lawler, and Kieran Hudson in quitting.

Joe Westerman vs Morgan Knowles  is the matchup that everyone has been anticipating since since Lee Radford said earlier this season that Westerman was having a stronger season than his St Helens rival. Two 13s that couldn’t be more different, but both are unquestionably good. I can’t wait to watch them engage in combat.
