The World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals 2022 will get under way in Pembrokeshire, Great Britain on October 14 and continue till October 16, 2022. The debut tournament took place in China in 2019, and the third iteration will now be held in Wales. The format begins on the beach, with contestants sprinting to their boats at the water’s edge. They then row slalom-style for 250 meters around three buoys before returning to the beach. After getting out of the boat, the competitor runs up the beach toward the finish line. The nine boat classes have drawn more than 250 athletes from 24 countries, the largest field since the inaugural World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals in 2019.

October 14, 2022: Time trials and heats for all boat classes

October 15, 2022: Round 2 for the CM1x and CW1x, and finals for Under 19 Men’s Solo (CJM1x), Under 19 Women’s Solo (CJW1x), Mixed Coxed Quadruple Sculls (CMix4x+) and Mixed Double Sculls (CMix2x).

October 16, 2022: Finals for Under 19 Men’s Double Sculls (CJM2x), Under 19 Women’s Double Sculls (CJW2x), Under 19 Mixed Double Sculls (CJMix2x), Men’s Solo (CM1x)
