US Gymnastics Championships 2022: Results and All-time Records

The US Gymnastics Championships was held from August 18-21 2022 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. All athletes across the country were present at the event, which first began all the way back in 1963. A total of 150 athletes participated with Brody Malone of Stanford University successfully defended his all-around title this year. Asher Hong was second with a 85.480, followed by Donnell Whittenburg.

With the win, the 2020 Olympian and 2021 world bronze medalist, has automatically qualified for the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, England this October. In the women’s division, Konnor McClain delivered a stunning performance to win the all-around title  at age 17. McClain became the sixth woman since 2000 to win in her senior debut. The US team is gearing up for another impressive showing with the 2024 Paris Olympics in sight.
