Ritu Phogat, an Indian martial arts star, will return to the ring on September 29, 2022, against Tiffany Tao of Singapore in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The two will square off in the ONE 161 championship. The 28-year-old Indian will face Tiffany, a former ONE Women’s Strawweight World Title challenger. Tiffany will be competing for the first time in the women’s atomweight division. Ritu hasn’t competed since losing by submission to Stamp Fairtex in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Final. Phogat will be ready to resume her journey to become India’s first female MMA World Champion now that she has recovered to full strength.
