European Championships 2022 in Shotgun (Trap & Skeet) will be held at the Larnaca Olympic Shooting Range at Tersefanou village in Larnaca Cyprus. It is scheduled to begin from Aug 24, 2022 and will end on Sep 12, 2022. This will be the first event to serve quota places for the Paris Olympics 2024.
The European Shooting Championships are the global European championships for rifle shooting (at distances of 25, 50, and 300 m) and pistol shooting (25 and 50 m). Trap shooting, skeet shooting, and running target shooting competitions are occasionally held as separate championships. The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) and the European Shooting Confederation jointly organize the championships (ESC).
The championships’ inaugural competition was held in Bucharest in 1955. It happens every two years. However, there are two to four unique championships for European nations each year in various shooting disciplines.
