The game between the Winnipeg Jets and Pittsburgh Penguins will take place at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada on Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Winnipeg Jets will welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Canada Life Centre for an NHL game on Saturday. Winnipeg defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in their last game. Kyle Connor was the hero of the game as he scored a hattrick and in the process helped the Jets record their 10th win of the season.
Kyle Connor spoke after the game and said, “My game wasn’t too far off. I put a little more emphasis on getting to the net tonight, just being around more pucks there. So, just put yourself in good situations, that’s all you can ask for. I wasn’t getting too frustrated through the first 10, 12, 13 games there.”
The Pittsburgh Penguins on the other hand defeated the Minnesota Wild 6-4 in their last game. Sidney Crosby scored a brace while Jake Guentzel, Kris Letang, Brock McGinn and Ryan Poehling added one goal each as the Penguins ran out comfortable winners.
Sidney Crosby said, “I thought we controlled the play and obviously special teams were big for most of the night. We’ve had our struggles there, and we have to be difference makers on the power play and tonight it was the difference maker for the game.”
