The game between the Winnipeg Jets and Carolina Hurricanes will take place at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada on Monday, November 21 at 7:30 PM ET.
The Winnipeg Jets will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to the Canada Life Centre for an NHL game on Monday. Winnipeg were beaten 3-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kyle Connor had five shots on goal while Saku Mäenalanen, Josh Morrissey, Neal Pionk and Mark Scheifele all had three shots on goal. They were however not able to get past Tristan Jarry in Pittsburgh’s net as he finished the game 32 saves.
Josh Morrissey said after the game, “They got the lead early in the third and did a pretty good job of breaking it out and being tough to get through in the neutral zone. Both goalies played well, and it probably could have went either way for a lot of the game.”
The Carolina Hurricanes on the other hand lost their last game 2-1 to the Minnesota Wild. Sebastian Aho scored Carolina’s only goal as none of his teammates were able to get themselves on the scoresheet.
Brind’Amour, coach of the Hurricanes spoke after the game and said, “We just were bad after that, even the second half of the first. The fact that we got a point out of that game is a miracle, in my opinion. We were God-awful. When you have two or three guys playing and the rest were going through the motions, that’s what you get.”
