The game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Dallas Stars will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday, November 15 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Tampa Bay Lightning will welcome the Dallas Stars to the Amalie Arena for an NHL game on Tuesday. Tampa Bay defeated the Washington Capitals 6-3 in their last game. Two goals from Mikhail Sergachev, and a goal each from Nikita Kucherov, Nick Perbix, Cole Koepke and Nick Paul were enough to blow away the Capitals.
Lightning coach Jon Cooper was looking for a response after his team were thrashed 5-1 by the Capitals in the reverse fixture. Speaking after the game, he said, “I thought our response today was what we needed. I think we learned a good lesson on how to respond. I loved our response.”
The Dallas Stars on the other hand recorded an emphatic victory in their last game as they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1. Goals from Esa Lindell, Joe Pavelski, Jason Robertson, Matej Blumel and Luke Glendening saw Dallas win their ninth game of the season and that too in comfortable fashion.
Goalscorer Joe Pavelski spoke after the game and said, “For whatever reason the last couple of games, it felt like we hadn’t had the energy when we had gone out on the ice. We battled and it was a good response from the group to go out there, stop the bleeding and do the little things well.”
