The game between the San Jose Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Thursday, October 27 at 10:30 PM ET.
The San Jose Sharks will welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to the SAP Center for an NHL game on Thursday. San Jose were beaten by the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 in their last game. Matt Nieto and Nico Sturm were the two players to score the goals from the Sharks as they fell short by 2 goals to the Golden Knights.
After the game, Nico Sturm said, “Today, like so many games this season already, I feel like we’re playing a good opponent and we’re shooting ourselves in the foot in a game that was absolutely winnable. Today was winnable.”
Just like their opponents, the Toronto Maple Leafs also lost their last game to the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1. William Nylander scored the only goal for the Maple Leafs. Michael Bunting and John Tavares had 4 and 3 shots on goal respectively but were unable to find the net as Logan Thompson was in inspired form.
