Patrice Bergeron is regarded by many as one of the best ice hockey centre to have played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on 24 July,1985 in L’Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, Canada.  He started his minor hockey career in 1998 and played at the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with the team of Sainte-Foy, Quebec City. He also played A hockey for the Seminaire St-François Blizzard before reporting to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

He currently plays for the Boston Bruins having joined them way back in 2003. He has been a part of the NHL All-Star Game 3 times and has played in the NHL YoungStars Game in 2004. He has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy five times once and also was the part of the Stanley Cup winning team in 2011 having scored the winning goal. He is also a NHL Plus-Minus Award winner and also won the NHL Foundation Player Award in 2014. He has also won the Mark Messier Leadership Award in 2021 and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 2013. He is also a part of the NHL All-Deacde Second Team of 2019. Patrice Bergeron wears the #37 jersey for the Boston Bruins.

NFL Debut Season

Patrice Bergeron was picked up by the Boston Bruins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. On October 18, 2003, he scored his first goal at NHL against the Los Angeles Kings in a 4–3 victory. On April 9, 2004, against the rival Montreal Canadiens he also scored the overtime-winning goal in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals. His debut season in the NHL was nothing short of appreciation as he registered 39 points in 71 games, getting selected for the NHL YoungStars Game.
