The game between the Ottawa Senators and Buffalo Sabres will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday, November 16 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Ottawa Senators will welcome the Buffalo Sabres to the Canadian Tire Centre for an NHL game on Wednesday. Ottawa lost to the New York Islanders 4-2 in their last game. Goals from Claude Giroux and Drake Batherson were not enough as the Senators fell to their ninth defeat of the season.
Giroux said after the game, “We had two good chances at the end of the game, but there was lots of time left and we have to hold on to the puck and wait until there’s a breakdown. It’s something we’ve worked on, but something we have to keep working on.”
The Buffalo Sabres on the other hand narrowly lost to the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 in their last game. Jeff Skinner scored two goals while Alex Tuch and Casey Mittelstadt scored one each but that was not enough as the Sabres lost a close game.
Alex Tuch spoke after the game and said, “It took us a little bit too long to push back. I wish we had done it halfway through the first or the second. But it’s a learning process.”
