New Jersey Devils will host Ottawa Senators in an NHL match at the Prudential Center on Thursday, November 10. The Devils recorded a narrow 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames with goals from Dougie Hamilton, Nico Hischier and Ryan Graves.
Hischier said after the match, “I mean it wasn’t pretty for sure. It wasn’t our best game. I think we didn’t have our legs in the first period, to be honest, was embarrassing. But we found a way and came back and in the end, if you’re going to win those games, it’s huge.”
The Ottawa Senators lost to the Vancouver Canucks 4-6 on Tuesday in a match that saw Tim Stutzle, Drake Batherson, Claude Giroux and Travis Hamonic score one each.
Senators coach DJ Smith said after the match, “We just didn’t get the job done. We looked very confident in the second period. We looked very confident in the first period, but then when you get into the third period we just didn’t make the plays we needed to make.”
