The game between the New Jersey Devils and Edmonton Oilers will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Monday, November 21 at 7:00 PM ET.
The New Jersey Devils will welcome the Edmonton Oilers to the Prudential Center for an NHL game on Monday. New Jersey defeated Ottawa 5-1 in their last game. Goals from Michal McLeod, Yegor Sharangovich, Nathan Bastian, Jesper Boqvist and Erik Haula were enough for the Devils to register their 15th win since the start of the season.
Erik Haula spoke after the game and said, “We were just resilient. There were a couple holes in our game, I thought, where we got a little bit comfortable and that’s when they kind of took it to us a little bit and got some chances, but overall, good for Schmid, great game from him, and 12 in a row, we’ve got to feel good about this one.”
The Edmonton Oilers on the other hand defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in an overtime thriller. Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, Warren Foegele and Zach Hyman scored the goals for the Oilers and helped them solidify fourth place in the Pacific Division.
Connor McDavid said after the game, “It was ugly right from the start for me. I fought the puck all night, changed sticks a couple times. Dropped my stick, lost a mouth guard a bunch of times. It was ugly, but obviously sticking with it and I found a way to contribute to the game. You know, make it count when you get your chance.”
