The game between the Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:30 PM ET.
The Montreal Canadiens will take on the Vancouver Canucks at the Bell Centre in an NHL game on Wednesday. Montreal defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in their last game with Mike Hoffman scoring two goals. Goaltender Jake Allen saved 41 of the 43 shots he was peppered with and finished the game with a save percentage of .953.
After the game, two goal hero Mike Hoffman alluded to the fact that keeping it simple made it easy for him and his team. He said, “That’s just simple hockey right there. You try to be in the right place at the right time and sometimes you are rewarded.”
The Vancouver Canucks were involved in a 10 goal thriller as they beat the Ottawa Senators 6-4 in their last game. Bo Horvat scored two goals while Elias Pettersson, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Ilya Mikheyev and Jack Studnicka added one goal each as the Canucks edged the Senators by two goals.
Bo Horvat spoke after the game and said, “It wasn’t maybe the prettiest win, but we’ve had a lot of good games where we haven’t won this year. We owe a lot of thanks to our goaltender tonight, for sure, especially in the first couple of periods, keeping us in it.”
