The game between the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars will take place at Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on Saturday, October 22 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Montreal Canadiens will host the Dallas Stars at the Bell Centre for an NHL game on Saturday. Montreal thrashed the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 in their last game as goals from Josh Anderson, Cole Caufield, Brendan Gallagher, Sean Monahan, Juraj Slavkovsky and Nick Suzuki sealed the deal.
Juraj Slavkovsky scored his first NHL goal and his coach was proud of him. Speaking after the game, Martin St. Louis said, “I’m happy for the kid. There’s a lot of pressure for an 18-year-old, first overall pick, to play here in Montreal and the fans made a nice gesture to encourage the kid scoring his first goal. I was expecting nothing less, we have spectacular fans.”
The Dallas Stars on the other hand lost their first game of the season in the last game as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat them 3-2. Luke Glendening and Tyler Seguin scored the two goals for Dallas as they fell to a narrow defeat.
Dallas coach Peter DeBoer held his hand up and said that the opposing team was better. After the game, he said, “They’ve got some skill guys. When they’ve got the puck they’re hard to defend. A good road point.”
