The Dallas Stars will travel to Minnesota to take on the Wild in their last NHL preseason game on Saturday. After losing 2-1 to the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday, Dallas is 2-4 in the preseason. Dallas has only had two victories in the preseason, both against Arizona and St. Louis, and has dropped two games in a row against Colorado. Dallas finished fourth in the Central division with a record of 46-20-6 and 98 points the previous season.

Jason Robertson, Roope Hinch, and Joe Pavelski, who led Dallas in scoring with 81 points last year, are all back. With 41 goals, Robertson has the most among the Stars. With 27, Hintz came in second in scoring. Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn, two outstanding Dallas Stars players who have missed the previous few of seasons due to injury, will add knowledge and leadership to the rink.

When Minnesota hosts Dallas on Saturday, it will also wrap out its preseason schedule. Minnesota is currently 5-1 in the preseason, with its most recent victory coming on Thursday against Chicago by a score of 4-1. Minnesota has only lost once in the preseason, 4-2 against the St. Louis Blues. Minnesota had a 53-22-7 record and 113 points to place second in the Central Division last year.

Kiril Kaprizov, a center, will be the offensive catalyst for Minnesota. He has 47 goals and 61 assists in just his first season. The other top offensive contributors are Frederick Gaudreau, Ryan Hartman, and center Joel Eriksson EK. In the previous campaign, Hartman scored 65 points, Ek scored 49 points, and Gaudreau scored 44 points.
