The Edmonton Oilers will welcome the Nashville Predators to Rogers Place for an NHL game on Tuesday. Edmonton defeated the Calgary Flames 3-2 in their last game. Zach Hyman scored two goals while Connor McDavid added one as Edmonton ran out comfortable winners. Goaltender Stuart Skinner saved 40 out of 42 shots and finished the game with a save percentage of .952.

Edmonton coach Jay Woodcroft was full of praise for his goaltender Stuart Skinner and said after the game, “I thought Stuart Skinner was exactly what I expected him to be — confident. I felt good about his ability to come in and help us win the game tonight.”

The Nashville Predators on the other hand were swept aside 3-0 by the Washington Capitals in their last game. Roman Josi had 5 shots on goal but could not do anything as Capitals goaltender Darcy Kuemper saved all 34 shots and did not let any Nashville player get a sniff at goal.

Predators head coach John Hynes said after the game, “They didn’t go in for us in the second, but I was a little disappointed in our push in the third. I just didn’t feel like we went out to get after it and be able to get the goal back.”
