The game Chicago Blackhawks vs Edmonton Oilers will take place at the United Center (Chicago) on Wednesday, November 30 at 9:35 PM ET.
Both clubs are seeking to rebound from sluggish beginnings to the season as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, respectively. The Oilers sit in the midst of the Pacific Division with a 12-10 record and two consecutive victories. With only one victory in their last ten games and a record of 6-11-4, the Blackhawks are now at the bottom of the Pacific Division. The forthcoming game appears to be a nice one as a consequence of both clubs’ desire to advance in their divisions and the Western Conference.
A 3.36-goal-per-game offense, which has scored eight goals in the previous two games, is helping the Oilers have a promising season. The league’s top two scorers, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, have combined for 30 goals and 42 assists, but the whole attack has improved this year. Defensemen Tyson Barrie and Darnell Nurse have added seven goals and 18 assists from the point to help open up the offense, while Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Warren Foegele have combined for 21 goals and 29 assists.
The Blackhawks are having a terrible season since their offense is having trouble and only managing to score 2.48 goals per game. The top two lines are led by Patrick Kane, Max Domi, and Jonathan Toews, who have combined for 16 goals and 27 assists, but the rest of the offense has struggled. Only four skaters have contributed six or more assists to the offense, and only four skaters have scored five goals or more, making the offense easily eliminated by the opposition’s defenses.
