The Edmonton Oilers will travel to the Scotiabank Saddledome to take on the Calgary Flames in an NHL preseason game on Wednesday. Calgary comes into this game on the back of a 3-0 loss to the Seattle Kraken. Walker Duehr and Nick DeSimone had five and two shots on goal respectively but could not find the back of the net. Flames head coach Darryl Sutter said after the game, “We worked hard, just didn’t have enough finish in our game.”
On the other hand, the Edmonton Oilers too come into this game on the back of a 3-0 loss to Seattle. Despite the best efforts of Tyson Barrie and Tyler Benson, the Oilers just did not have an answer to the in-form Seattle team. Forward Devin Shore shared his thoughts on the game and said, “I thought the compete level was really good, I thought we did some good things out there, but we didn’t score.”
