The Montreal Canadiens on the other hand come into this game on the back of a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in their last game. Nick Suzuki was the only Montreal player to get on the scoresheet. Goaltender Jake Allen had a bad game as he conceded five goals and as a result, Montreal lost their 15th game of the season.
