Garrett Wilson ran for 102 yards and scored two touchdowns while Corey Davis ran for 83 yards and recorded one touchdown.
After the game, Jets coach Robert Saleh heaped praise on 37 year old Joe Flacco. Saleh said, “Just a calming force. He has been in a lot of these situations leading a bunch of young men. I thought he was cool, calm, got the ball where it needed to go, and they left the door open just a crack. Just a crack for our guys to break through was awesome.”
On the other hand, the Cincinnati Bengals come into this game on the back of a 20-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and sit at the bottom of the AFC North table with two losses and a 0-2 record. Joe Burrow passed for 199 yards and had one touchdown pass as he completed 24 of his 36 passes. Tee Higgins ran for 71 yards and scored one touchdown.
Sam Hubbard was not too down after the loss and said after the game, “You just can’t let it affect you. People look to you and your demeanor, how you handle yourself and all you can do is go back to work. And I’m excited to get back to work.”
