Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for an NFL game on Sunday. The Falcons come into this game on the back of a 28-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in their last preseason game. Quarterback Desmond Ridder completed 14 of his 21 attempted passes and passed for 185 yards and had one touchdown pass and two interceptions.

Arthus Smith who is into his second year as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons noted that he and his team are building something special and promised that there will be good times ahead. Speaking after the game, Smith said, “We’re trying to build something real here. I’ll promise you: This place is gonna be rocking when we get this thing rolling.”

On the other hand, the Saints come into this game on the back of a 27-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in their last game. Quarterback Ian Book attempted 15 passes and completed 11 of them. In the process, he passed for 81 yards and had one touchdown pass. The other quarterbacks Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston passed for 73 and 59 yards respectively. Running back Mark Ingram Jr rushed for 34 yards and scored two touchdowns while wide receiver Kirk Merritt ran for 32 yards and recorded one touchdown of his own. 

Jameis Winston was thankful for the chance that he got and said that he is focused on the season ahead. Speaking after the game, Winston said, “It meant a lot to get a chance to play. My gratitude for being out there is way more important than completing passes. Like, I had a season that I didn’t finish. So, I’m thankful.”
