Currently sporting the Bengaluru Bulls uniform, Vikas Kandola, a dominant force in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2023, displays his captivating offensive skills as a raider. Vikas Kandola, who was born on April 2, 1998, in Jind, Haryana, first gained notoriety in kabaddi during his adolescence. He made his debut with the Dabang Delhi team in the fourth PKL tournament. Vikas Kandola joined the VIVO Professional Kabaddi Association while Dabang Delhi was in the fourth phase. Even though he had a modest beginning, he showed significant improvement over the seasons. With a total of 177 points, he was the Haryana Steelers’ leading spike scorer in the 2018 Pakistan Premier League.
The following year, Vikas switched to playing for Haryana, which was the beginning of his successful adventure. His big break came in the fifth PKL tournament, where he was duly recognized for his exceptional performance. Building on this momentum, Kandola kept moving up the success ladder, hitting all-time highs in the sixth season of Pro Kabaddi League and continuing to put on a fantastic show in the ninth edition. In the fourth season of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, Vikas Kandola made his debut for Dabang Delhi. His meager numbers, however, indicate that his debut journey into the PKL proved to be hard.
Kandola completed 17 raids in four games that season, but only managed to earn 5 raid points. Lacking any meaningful points and displaying an abnormally low mat time, the season highlighted his steep learning curve. When Kandola put on the Haryana Steelers uniform, his luck took a significant change for the better. During that season, he underwent a miraculous metamorphosis in nine Steelers appearances, amassing an incredible 61 raid points.
