Manjeet Dahiya, an Indian Kabaddi raider, comes from a family with a background in wrestling in Sisana, Haryana. He embarked on his Kabaddi career in 2014 and joined the Indian Army in 2016 under the sports quota, serving with the Rajputana Rifles. During 2017 and 2018, he represented the services in various national Kabaddi competitions, including the Federation Cup held in Mumbai.
In the Pro Kabaddi League’s sixth season in 2018, Manjeet made his first appearance with Patna Pirates, scoring 102 points. His performance showcased a 46% raid strike rate and 39% in tackles. The following season, he moved to Puneri Paltan, where he scored 151 points, maintaining a 46% success rate in both raids and tackles. In 2021, he joined Tamil Thalaivas for the 8th season, scoring 167 points after being bought for Rs. 92 lakh.
For the league’s 9th season in 2022, Manjeet played for Haryana Steelers, acquired for Rs. 80 lakh, and scored 153 points. In 2023, he returned to Patna Pirates for the 10th season, bought for Rs. 92 lakh, and sported the jersey number 10. That year, he also excelled in the 37th National Games and the 49th Inter-Services Kabaddi Championship, representing the Services Sports Control Board and winning both events.
