The Pro Kabaddi 2022 is scheduled to be held from October, with 12 teams assembling their squads on August 5th-6th in Mumbai. Pawan Sehrawat’s INR 2.26 crore bid by Tamil Thalaivas broke the all-time PKL record, while Pradeep Narwal re-signed with the Haryana Steelers, hoping to continue their journey towards a successful season this time out.
The 12 teams will begin on October 22, with the tournament going on till December, as the franchises battle it out to win the 9th edition of the tournament. It was launched in 2014 and is broadcast on Star Sports. For the 2017 and 2018–19 season, the Pro Kabaddi League added four new teams, with Dabang Delhi winning the previous edition of the Round-Robin tournament. Patna Pirates have won the most titles with 3 in succession in the tournament’s history.
