Phase three of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 got underway on November 18 and will commence on December 10 in Hyderabad at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. The race is intensifying as the 12 teams are battling to earn themselves a playoff berth. As the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 enters its last month, we will take a look at the players with most successful tackles who, through their strong defensive play, impressed everyone and guided their team to triumph. Ankush, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh, and Saurabh Nandal have made it to the list.

Ankush (Team – Jaipur Pink Panthers; Defender – Left Corner)

Ankush tops the list of the player with the most number of tackles in the Pro Kabaddi League 2022. He has been outstanding for the Jaipur Pink Panthers, and in their most recent game against the Telugu Titans, he maintained his strong defensive play to earn six tackle points. The side retained him for this season under the franchisee nominated New Young Players. He had previously represented U Mumba.

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh (Team – Patna Pirates; All – Rounder)

With 57 tackles in 16 games, Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh is second on the list of players with the most successful tackles. He was retained by the Patna Pirates ahead of the Pro Kabaddi League auction. He represents the Iran national team and was born on 30th September 2000. He plays as an all-rounder in the ongoing edition of PKL 2021. Patna Pirates bought him for Rs 31 Lakhs in his first PKL edition.

Saurabh Nandal (Team – Bengaluru Bulls; Defender – Left Corner)

Saurabh Nandal has acquired 51 successful tackles from 18 games for Bengaluru Bulls. The Bulls picked him in the squad in the year 2017 and he has been with them since then. He has made a total tackle of 334 in his entire Pro Kabaddi League career. He has also played for Team India professionally. Saurabh Nandal has become the leader of the team’s defense this season and Bengaluru Bulls will hope that he continues to be in his prime form in the remaining matches as well.
