As thousands of racing fans flock to the Catalan capital for action under the Spanish sun in the summer, the circuit hosts races for both series. On June 4, the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix will be held, and Spaniards Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz will be trying to excite the crowd at their home track. The 2013 race will mark ten years since a Spanish driver, Fernando Alonso, won for Ferrari and stood on the podium in Barcelona. Motorsport Tickets is now selling tickets for the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula One. Then, in September, it will be the turn of MotoGP to compete at the track. Contrary to Formula One, a Spanish driver has won six out of the last ten races in Catalonia, with Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, and Jorge Lorenzo sharing the victories.

Following a recent turbulent period in the top class, Marquez will be hoping for a return to form, while competitors like Fabio Quartararo, Francesco Bagnaia, and Enea Bastianini will be vying for the win. Because of the track’s proximity to the city’s center, fans can easily travel there from well-known hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to discover Barcelona. Motor racing fans can set up camp in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities and watch world-class racing while taking in the city’s numerous bars, historical landmarks, and world-famous beaches.
