After struggling in the F1 shakedown, P6 appeared to be Alfa Romeo's 'best scenario'

After having reliability issues in preseason, outgoing Alfa Romeo Formula 1 boss Frederic Vasseur believed that placing sixth in the championship in 2022 was the "best case."

Even though they tied on points heading into the final race of the season, the team managed to hold on to sixth place ahead of Aston Martin, giving them their best constructors’ championship finish since 2012.
