All of Us Are Dead  is a South Korean coming-of-age zombie based horror television series. It features Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo. The series mostly happen at a high school in the fictional South Korean city of Hyosan, as a zombie place quickly breaks out and threatens the safety of the students. It is inspired by the Naver webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun, which was came between 2009 and 2011. This series was produced at Sunghee Girls’ High School in Andong, South Korea.

Netflix had impressed fans previous year on June 6, 2023, by officially declaring the renewal of “All of Us Are Dead” for a 2nd season. The positive response from both critics and viewers defintely played a crucial role in the decision to proceed with the story. With the first season impressing audiences and making them engaged with the story, expectations were rised for the forthcoming installment.

Unfortunately, the long-awaited come back of “All of Us Are Dead” will not come on screens this year, including a hint of gloom to the eagerness that had been raised in the fans. Even though being in the middle of the summer schedule and hinting about the fall lineup, Netflix has not provided any mention of the 2nd season, disappointing fans and leaving them wait for the second season even more.

What creates the disheartenment is the disclosion that shooting for the second season hasn’t even declared. In March 2023, in an interview with Park Ji-hu, taken by Teen Vogue, disclosed the sad truth: “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 had yet to start its shooting. This disclosion has definitely created concerns in the fans who were excitingly wishing for a 2023 comeback, creating doubt on the series’ come back in the near future.
