BTS’s Jung Kook still busy in creating history with his debut solo single “Seven” as it got the top place on the Billboard Global 200 chart for a second continuous week. That implies that once again, the pop tune is the hughest and most-listened in the world and he’s almost only one who managed to do this. Previous week, “Seven” not only ruled the U.S. charts but also goes to the pinnacle of the Billboard Global 200, making Jung Kook only the second South Korean solo musician to get this feat. While the track’s place has now been taken by in the Hot 100 by Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town,” it retains its reign on the ranks as the most-listened songs globally.
The BTS star’s achievement is incredible, as no other South Korean solo artist has succesful to be more than one week at the top of the Billboard Global 200 chart in its years-long history. Priorly, Jung Kook and Blackpink’s Rosé were at top at the same time, each having sent one track to the top of the roster for a single frame. Rosé’s single, “On the Ground,” ruled the tally for one frame in the spring of 2021 prior to being taken by Justin Bieber, Giveon, and Daniel Caesar’s “Peaches.”
Now, Jung Kook crossed Rosé’s song in this term, with “Seven” ruling on the list for two continous weeks.With Seven, Jungkook became the second member of BTS to debut at number one on Billboard Hot 100. Some months ago, BTS member Jimin got the No. 1 position on the chart with his song Like Crazy. BTS is the only other Korean group to top the Billboard Hot 100. Jungkook also grabbed No.1 post on the Billboard Global 200 Top 10 and Billboard Global (excluding US) Top 10 charts.

‘Seven’ is a soothing pop song, that shows Jungkook as a diehard romantic partner who is trying to get back in the good books of his ex-girlfriend that is played by South Korean actress Han So-Hee. The lyrics tells the various attempts he would do to prove his love and devotion towards his lover.
The music video starts with the duo having an argument at the time of dining in an restaurant. So-hee is shown scolding at Jungkook. Suddenly, the eatery catches fire.

Jungkook said that ‘SEVEN’ is a summer song that has an soothing melody with a warm sound acoustic guitar and the tune of the genre of “UK garage” (electronic music made in England in the early 1990s). The song has been launched in two editions, the clean and the explicit one, it was released with an instrumental version as well. He started off the promotions by performing at GMA.
When he was having interviews, Jungkook stated that he made Kim Taehyung aka V hear ‘SEVEN’ for the first time and the response from all BTS members were very supportive. Accordinh to the reports, Jungkook’s solo album will be a full-English album.
