The sixth season of Overwatch 2 isn’t just about adding a new hero to the mix and a new season of the same content. Blizzard Entertainment’s efforts to create PvE content with “Overwatch 2: Invasion” officially begin with Season 6. Although Overwatch 2’s fifth season hasn’t offered a lot of fresh, original content, Blizzard has promised a lot for the upcoming one, including PvE Story Missions, a new persistent game mode called Flashpoint, Hero Mastery, and of course, a new support hero.
Season six will soon be here, following the July 11 mid-cycle patch for season 5. The timing of Blizzard’s newest content is also a little different this season than it was last. The sixth season of Overwatch 2 will premiere on August 10 at 2 p.m. CT.
