With frequent updates and patches, Apex Legends keeps things more interesting by making adjustments to its different maps. While there are only limited maps for ranked and pub matches, they rotate constantly. Because of this, players are constantly faced with the challenge of adjusting to the new setting. For the latest Ravelry Season 16, Respawn has made major changes to its Ranked Mode. Apart from this, Apex has also brought back LTM Deathmatch in its latest update. Because of this, many Apex players are confused about which maps are in the current rotation for this season.  If you need more information about What is The Current Map Rotation For Apex Legends Season 16? then read carefully and don’t forget to share with your friends.

What is The Current Map Rotation For Apex Legends Season 16?

One way to ensure that each map feels fresh is by using a seasonal rotation system. Players cannot choose which map they want to play at any time. Instead, they have to go by rotation, which usually changes on a seasonal basis. Rather than having all five maps available at any given time, the dev team chooses a handful to include in rotation. Featured maps are usually new or have recently received updates. Here is the current map rotation in Apex.

The whole concept of Season 16 is to give the game a “break” from the major seasonal updates that usually happen, such as adding a new legend to the game and a significant map update in favor of many other things. For this season, that includes the new Class Perk system, Team Deathmatch, the Nemesis Burst Assault Rifle, and more. As such, there aren’t a lot of new map updates to go around, but players will be able to play their Apex matches for the first split of Season 16 on Broken Moon, World’s Edge, and Storm Point.

It remains to be seen how the split will operate in Apex Legends Season 16, given that the rotation will be exceptionally frequent. For those who haven’t dipped their toe into the Apex Legends ranks, a new season will reset your rank level – as well as reset it every time you split. When the second split starts, your rank will drop one rank compared to the 1.5 from the back half of the season.

What’s the ranked map in Apex season 16?

Respawn also changed how ranked maps work in Season 16. In the old ranked system, ranked was played for an entire division on one map, usually over a month. In Season 16, Respawn is rotating ranked maps, with the same maps players can play in ranked pubs available. The major difference between pub and now ranked is that rank rotation is still much longer than pub rotation. Ranked maps play for 24 hours before switching to the next map. So if you see Storm Point in ranked and you love playing that map, don’t worry. You have all day. On the other hand, if you dislike Storm Point, you can always play some other mode and wait until tomorrow, when World’s Edge or Broken Moon is a ranked map.

The decision to rotate maps often is good for players looking to visit some new locations on a regular basis. However, for those who have mastered World’s Edge or Broken Moon, waiting for your favorite map to show up can be frustrating. Undoubtedly one of the biggest updates ever for the game, we are sure you are all excited for the Apex Legends Season 16 release date. We know Apex Legends’ new nemesis will shake up the meta of AR battle royale and Apex Legends is gearing up to add the highly requested feature Arenas – making this a season like no other.
