Currently, there are several modes available in Warzone 2.0, including battle royale, DMZ, and smaller multiplayer modes. There may be no room to add Plunder, especially considering how the mode was never a fan favorite. However, this may be a discussion of quality over quantity, and it could potentially be an attempt to provide the player with as many options as possible. WILL PLUNDER BE IN WARZONE 2.0?

For some time now, fans have been asking if loot would appear in Warzone 2.0 as well. It was previously a staple of the Warzone platform, positioned as a direct alternative to Battle Royale. This gave players the ability to drop into maps with loadouts and loot as much cash as possible. If they are killed, they will simply respawn and try again. It turned out to be a much more chilled-out mode than an intense, heart-pounding battle royale, and as such, it gathered something of a following.

In August 2022, loot was removed from the Warzone platform, and now that Warzone 2.0 has launched, everyone has moved on. Although there’s potential to reintroduce loot into the Warzone ecosystem, is there even a need?

There’s a brand new game mode in Warzone 2.0, and it’s called the DMZ. Now, this is an ‘Extraction Shooter’, and it allows players to enter Al Majra, loot all kinds of items including cash and weapons, fight enemies, complete tasks and contracts, and successfully leave again . This is the most fundamental part of extraction shooter – the goal is to survive and escape the map. However, one of the most fundamental aspects of the DMZ is the collection of high value loot (including money). So, does it really make sense to introduce loot in Warzone 2.0 when there’s already a mode that involves collecting large amounts of cash?

Currently, there’s nothing to confirm this glitch, and certainly no sign of the information being confirmed by anyone at Activision, Raven, or Infinity Ward. It could be just an innocent glitch or it could be a direct and as yet unseen indicator that loot is coming into play.Let’s wait and see how it develops .Meanwhile, fans are preparing for the possible arrival of a brand new Rebirth Island map.
