An interesting teaser trailer and eye-catching image for the much awaited television anime adaptation based on Ema Toyama’s Vampire Dormitory manga have been released on the official website. In addition to giving fans a sneak peek at the anime, the sneak peek reveals that April 2024 is when it will launch. As the anime is ready to be aired across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and India, excitement is building at Crunchyroll, the massive streaming service. “An Alluring Cohabitation” The adventure of a crossdressing girl and a devoted vampire entwine, creating the conditions for a dangerous cohabitation! Mito, the main character, must deal with the terrible reality of losing her parents and having her family abandon her, leaving her on her own in the world. After being kicked out of her job, Mito struggles with homelessness and discovers an unexpected haven in the vampire Ruka. She consents to give Ruka her blood in an odd turn of events, effectively becoming his “food” in return for a place to reside. The turn of events? This is a brand-new hostel for boys, where a group of gorgeous boys with unique personalities live.
This much-awaited animation at Studio Blanc is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, who is well-known for his gripping work on projects like Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds, Happy Sugar Life, and Smile Down the Runway. Touko Machida, the gifted scriptwriter behind Fuuka, Smile Down the Runway, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, is with him. Under the expert guidance of Naomi Tsuruta, who won recognition for her work on Pokémon: Paldean Winds’ second key animation, the character designs are brought to life.
In November 2018, Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine published an engrossing manga by Ema Toyama. The manga took a short break following the end of its “first part” in July 2022, but it triumphantly returned when its “second part” began in December 2022. On November 13, the manga’s 12th compilation volume was released by publishing behemoth Kodansha. Kodansha USA Publishing guarantees a consistent release schedule for English-speaking readers; the tenth book will be available on June 20.
