While Valorant doesn’t have a field of view (FOV) slider, it compensates for it by letting players change the resolution of their clients regardless of the monitor size. Some players with a background in games such as Counter-Strike might opt to stretch their screens, while others might like to stick with the default. In this article, we will discuss the best FOV settings for the game.

We have shared a guide on how to change the screen’s resolution in Valorant.

The lack of a FOV slider lets players play on a stretched resolution. While this doesn’t alter the game’s actual FOV, it stretches things on the screen, making it easier for players to view. Valorant has a set FOV of 103, which players can’t change but it gives players a better idea of what they are already working with before making changes to their resolution.

The default resolution is 16:9, which is how the game was developed to be viewed. Some professional Valorant players have been playing the game on a stretched resolution of 4:3, which seems like the things are zoomed in. Besides, there are other resolution variants that players can choose from, such as 16:10, 5:4, and 5:4. Each resolution offers a different desired effect and might help players who are used to titles with a FOV slider.

To change the resolution of Valorant, players must go to the settings panel by hitting the gear icon in the upper left corner of the main screen. Once in settings, they need to navigate to the video panel, and the resolution setting can be seen at the top of the page. From there, players can experiment with what stretched resolution will work best for them.
