While this is fantastic for keeping players interested and giving the game more depth, the regular introduction of new characters has inexorably rendered some of the older ones outdated.

One of the most extensive rosters of any MOBA game is found in League of Legends, which features more than 140 unique champions. Riot Games has created new champions with intriguing kits and novel mechanics or playstyles every year since the game’s debut in 2009.

While this is fantastic for keeping players interested and giving the game more depth, the regular introduction of new characters has inexorably rendered some of the older ones outdated. Based on their games played (and subsequent pick rate), and using statistics from LoLaltyics, these are the ten champions in the Challenger tier of the League who have received the fewest plays at the moment. Additionally, you may see the top 10 champions across all ranks further down.

5. Taliyah

Taliyah was far lower on this exact list in May 2023, when she was ranked fourth. Being the ninth least popular character isn’t much better, but it’s still better than nothing! isn’t as strong of a jungle choice as she once was with only 121,080 games and a negative win rate of 49.72.

4. Kennen

Kennen, in contrast to Singed, Taliyah, and Taric, appears to merit his hardly-picked position as a result of his C-tier standing and a dismally low victory rate of 47.43. Kennen actually has the lowest win percentage of the ten underdog champions. However, it’s interesting to note that his win percentage alone in the Challenger tier is far higher, at 57.22. Even still, Kennen has only been used in 114,948 games, which hasn’t allowed it to advance much.

3. Renata Glasc

How quickly the weak have fallen. As the ninth least popular champion in the League in May 2023, Renata Glasc was already a rare sight. She has now moved even lower in the unpopularity rankings of the roster to claim fourth position. She could be a mediocre B+ tier character with a 50.31 win rate, which could account for the fact that she has only been chosen 83,064 times, but regardless of the cause, she has cemented her position as the least popular Support character in the game.

2. Ivern

Ivern ranking much higher on this list would absolutely shock us, and we guarantee you would too. He is, however, performing slightly better than he did previously. He really had the lowest popularity among all characters in May 2023. Even if he has only advanced one spot, it is still an improvement!

He’s really regarded as an A-tier character with an admittedly average win rate of 50.76 despite having played a horrifyingly low number of 73,591 games. The Green Father’s situation is improving! Like Rell, Skarner is eagerly expecting some significant adjustments that are anticipated to give him fresh life in terms of both appearance and gameplay. Unfortunately, the mid-scope update still lacks a release date, therefore the mains of the Crystal Vanguard will likely have to maintain their terrible pick rate (only 169,217 games were played in Patch 13.10). However, he also currently has a 51.64 percent victory record, which is extremely commendable.

1. Skarner

Skarner, who was previously ranked second for least popular League of Legends character, has put in a lot of effort to take the top slot. Stupid dude. It’s interesting to note that, according to LoLalytics, this monster like a scorpion is really performing far better than players like Corki and Kennen. Skarner has a victory rate of 51.67 and is regarded as B+ tier. In spite of this, just 47,800 games have included the Crystal Vanguard.
