Takuma Morishige, the talented manga artist, concluded the 31st and final chapter of his Tonari no Seki-kun Junior (My Neighbor Seki-kun Junior) manga. The finale was published in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Flapper magazine’s June issue. Morishige initially launched the manga in July 2020, and it finally came to an end in May 2023. The manga revolves around a girl named Yokoi, who sits beside a boy known as Seki-kun. Morishige published a new chapter for the main My Neighbor Seki series in April 2018.
The manga’s success inspired an anime adaptation in 2014, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on home video. It also inspired a live-action show. In June 2017, Morishige launched the Voiradi: Boku no Suki na Personality (Voice Radio: My Beloved Personality) manga, which ended in October 2018.
